This qualification means Ben is an experienced and qualified inspector with an in-depth knowledge of plant and arboriculture science ensuring comprehensive tree surveys will be undertaken.

 

Ben will visit site to undertake a tree inspection to produce a survey which will cover appropriate remedial measures on your trees, where they are needed in order to fully consider all aspects of risk management for the trees on your property.

Holding the PTI qualification means that Ben is able to:

 

• Identify the legal framework in the context of statute and common law that affects tree inspection

• Summarise how a tree system functions, and what constitutes a safe tree

• Adopt a systematic and consistent methodology for carrying out visual tree inspection

• Recognise a range of observable mechanical and biological defects as seen in trees

 

• Identify a range of commonly seen pests, diseases, and disorders that affect tree safety

• State the appropriate control/remedial measures required

 

Ben is also currently studying toward achieving his Level 4 in Arboriculture Studies through Tree Life, also accredited by LANTRA.
